I wasn't really sure what color profile was best to use.I had found a website that mentioned for standard card stock the CMYK uswebcoatedswop was good. The true test will be seeing how the PDF I saved from Scribus prints and I'll report back with the results when I get to it (I don't have the correct paper yet). I haven't printed yet though but just added them to the svg doc I was working in, saved that doc and put it into Scribus to see how the colors matched and they all matched wonderfully! Of course they should if Scribus also is using same color profiles, which it is. I downloaded all of the Adobe ICC CMYK color profiles, but I only have used two of them USWebCoatedSWOP (3 and 5) to practice with. Hi Espermachine, thanks.yeah I was happy it worked. I am using version 0.91 and have windows 7 professional. Is that the only solution to get Inkscape to find the new profiles on my computer? One of the suggestions I read in an already existing thread on this topic mentioned something about using a hex editor and change the name of the ICC profile file, but it kind of went over my head and seemed complicated (maybe it isn't though). Do I also need to add the color profile to my Inkscape folder on my computer somewhere? No profiles show up for that just says "none". I installed an ICC color profile (CMYK) to my computer so I can work with the CMS in my Inkscape docs and convert RGB to CMYK via Scribus, and I see it in my computer folder where it is supposed to be (along with all the other color profiles on my computer), but the profile does not show up in the CMS tab in the Fill and Stroke dialog box. So I hope it is ok I started a new topic for this. I know this topic has been brought up before.I did a search and read all of the threads on this topic, but none helped.
